This truly representative space, which has been statically remodelled over the last few years, would use a five-year thematic exhibition to bring visitors closer to the daily life of the Zrinski family, one of the most powerful Croatian aristocratic families of the 16th and 17th century, and which is the main reason for most visitors to visit the Čakovec Museum of Međimurje.
Construction work started last week and all phases should be completed in the second half of the year. While the work is in progress, museum curators are working on the design of an exhibition that will cover the space for the next five years. The project lasts 30 months, is worth EUR 1,454,671.54, of which EUR 1,236,470.80 is funded by the European Regional Development Fund.
